Today was the first of two days devoted to the presence and participation of the nuns at the Chapter. It was also the first day since the start of Chapter that the heavens opened and it rained. What is one to make of that? I don't know. But it must mean something. There are, I believe, 18 sisters

This morning we went for mass at the Carmel of the Incarnation. The more than 100 of us pretty much filled the not otherwise cramped quarters of their daily mass chapel--the Chapel of the Transverberation, as it's called. (I have to record the name here because I can't resist the opportunity to use the word transverberation.)
Abbey Youth Fest 2014
On the weekend of March 22nd I traveled to Covington, Louisiana to participate in and do vocational promotion at the Abbey Youth Fest. This event is organized every year by the Benedictine monks of St. Josephʼs Abbey. 50th Jubilee of Religious Profession
